Learning online on http://www.mooc-list.com/

what do i learn on that?

Thanks, gediminas, for posting that. I agree with Johans, it would have been nice to have a little more information about the courses. It appears they list a lot of courses from many Universities without really providing a lot of details about how to benefit from and complete the course. There are probably examples of just about every subject imaginable in open course format though.

I did find a course that looks interesting there:

Quote:
The objective of this course is to provide the basic concepts and algorithms required to develop mobile robots that act autonomously in complex environments.

The edx site, which they refer you to for more information about the course, is a portal to free courses from many universities. The site itself is a project of Harvard and M I T. One question I have is why wouldn't you go to a site like edx in the first place to look for Open University courses? There might be a place for sites like mooc if they are very inclusive of courses offered through different portals, for initial screening. I did not see enough information on mooc, though, to do much more than just choose a major subject area, or browse a few courses selected as being popular.
