I have never heard of it. Right now I use Comodo Anti Virus which is also free.
Something I noticed about this: "Perfectly compatible with <list of antiviruses>". I've seen the same claim on other antivirus sites.
I remember a few years back, having two antiviruses installed was a big no-no. Apparently the technology has changed? At one point, anti-virus companies began including firewalls, and many became obnoxious to install or to insure they were completely uninstalled. In fact, that issue on Windows was one of the main reasons I switched to Linux when I did.
Of course, since switching to Linux I have largely ignored anti-virii. (word or not? spell checker says no)
I have run clamav occasionally on Linux, but usually don't bother. Last time I installed anti-virus on a Windows machine, I found a Windows app based on clamav.
Two antiviruses won't ever go along in the same machine.
As for Baidu antivirus.... since it's bundled onto some freeware, ad-supported programs we can download around, I almost think it's more like a rogue antivirus... but who knows. I use Comodo Internet Security anyway. Like said above, also free.
So is this coming from China? I belive Baidu is their Google or MS.
I use AVG Free. Not bad
Baidu ?! - Never heard of it. I use Eset.
Never heard before.
How good is it?
I am using kaspersky antivirus which is getting heavy now a days.
I think AVG is good free anti virus.
What about microsoft defender. Anyone use it? I have seen in reviews that is very good and got 4.5 stars. I am planning to use this and try.
