I have a question about hosting to seperate sites on my site. Both sites would be mine but I wanted to know if it was possible for me to have another additional site created in my file manager, and if so how would i do it?
2 seperate sites
I think you would have to create a subdomain.
yes.
in cpanel choose either 'park domain' or 'addon domain'

Go to 'advanced tools' >> 'domain administration'. There you can add a new domain. It will then appear as /domains/<yournewdomainname>/public_html/.

you already said "both sites would be mine". Have you registered the domain names yet or not? You can get free third level domains from
http://afraid.org
or free second level domains in the .be TLD:

It is not absolutely critical to use subdomains:
you can also just use folders.
Ex:
Main site- www.subdomain.frih.net (you might even have nothing here, or links to your sites)
Site 1- www.subdomain.frih.net/site1
Site 2- www.subdomain.frih.net/site2
and so on...
these links are hypothetical, they go nowhere.

If you don't have domains, you can use subdomains.
Just create a new subdomain using cPanel/DirectAdmin (depending on what control panel you use). There will be a folder in your public_html folder with the same name as the subdomain. This is where you put the contents of the subdomain.
