Just moved from windows to linux and I am missing IDM. Need an alternative to IDM
Download manager with better browser integration and mult-connection feature. Which one would be the best choice

It would be nice if you could include steadyflow in your option.

Currently that's what I am using as alternative to popular IDM software. It also great mainly because of browser support it has for chrome which really handy.

By the way, it is also have some great analysis on wiring up all flow of internet data connection when your attempting to download.

One more thing, if you want hassle-free and straightforward download attempt, wget i think is enough in command line. Although I am not really sure if you can resume on your download attempt which maybe cut off due to unpleasant reason.

I've only tried jdownloader, the UI seemed a little... clunky or something, not sure what it is like now though
