"Do ya see me Toecutter? Do ya see me man? I am the Nightrider! Born with a steering wheel in his hand and lead in his foot. I am the Nightrider. I am a fuel-injected suicide machine! I am a rocker! I am a roller! I am an out-of-controller! I am the Chosen One! The mighty hand of Vengeance! Sent down to strike the unroadworthy! I'm hotter than a rolling dice! Step right up, chum, and watch the kid lay down a rubber road right to freedom!"

Rooooooflmao. I can't we believe we have missed such a nice thread. Excellent quote dude. Mine is:

I love Bill Murray's monologue from the movie Stripes

"Cut it out! Cut it out! The hell's the matter with you? Stupid! We're all very different people; we're not watoosie, we're not Spartans. We're Americans, with a capital A, huh? You know what that means? Do ya? That means that our forefathers were kicked out of every out every decent country in the world. We are the wretched refuse. We're underdogs, we're mutts! Here's proof: his nose is cold. But there's no animal that's more faithful, that's more loyal, more loveable than the mutt."

It goes on more but that's my favorite part.

My favourite movie quote is in Brazil, Terry Gilliam quoting the montage of Sergei Eisensteins "battelship Potiomkin". He gives the same suspance of the scene of the battle on the staircases in Odessa. In Brazil it takes place on the staircase of the ministry of truth. All the participants are there in his version, only there is a hoover instead of the buggy in Eisensteins film.

Troy (again...)
Priam: "I've fought many wars in my time. Some I've fought for land, some for power, some for glory. I suppose fighting for love makes more sense than all the rest."

Taken (TV Miniseries)
Allie: "My mother always talked to me a lot about the sky. She liked to watch the clouds in the day and the stars at night...especially the stars. We would play a game sometimes, a game called "What's Beyond the Sky?" We would imagine darkness or a blinding light or something else that we didn't know how to name. But of course, that was just a game. There's nothing beyond the sky. The sky just is, and it goes on and on, and we play all of our games beneath it."
Allie: "People are lonely in this world for lots of different reasons. Some people have something in their disposition. Maybe they were just born too mean, or maybe they were born too tender. But most people are brought to where they are by circumstance, by calamity or a broken heart or something else happening in their lives that wasn't anything they planned on. People are lonely in this world for lots of different reasons. The one thing that I do know is, it doesn't matter what any one of them might tell you--nobody wants to be alone."
Allie: "Everyone knows not to stare into the sun. It's something your mother tells you when you're a kid. "Don't look at the sun or you'll go blind." But sometimes you want to understand something so badly that you'll risk going blind for just a glimpse of what it all might be about."

Matrix fav quotes:

Morpheus: I'm trying to free your mind, Neo. But I can only show you the door. You're the one that has to walk through it.

Morpheus: Stop trying to hit me and hit me!

Neo: What are you trying to tell me? That I can dodge bullets?
Morpheus: No, Neo. I'm trying to tell you that when you're ready, you won't have to.

Morpheus: Throughout human history, we have been dependent on machines to survive. Fate, it seems, is not without a sense of irony.

The Architect: Denial is the most predictable of all human responses. (Matrix Reloaded)

Link (about Neo flying): He's doing his Superman thing.

Merovingian: I love the French language.... fantastic language, especially to curse with... it's like wiping your arse with silk (Matrix Reloaded)

Agent Smith: Still using all the muscles except the one that matters.

Agents about Neo: "...only human."
Neo about agents: "Hmm. Upgrades."

Agent Smith about Human beings: Human beings are a disease a cancer of this planet. You are a plague, and we are the cure.

Mouse: To deny our own impulses is to deny the very thing that makes us human.

Morpheus: You have to let it all go, Neo. Fear, doubt, and disbelief. Free your mind.

I think Pacino said some great stuff in that as well but I don't have the exact words. Or it could be you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. I'd like that. But that shit ain't the truth. The truth is you're the weak. These are the quotes I really like:

The Matrix:
"I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid. You're afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin. I'll hang up this phone. And then I'll show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you."

Dead Poets Society:
"Boys, you must strive to find your own voice. Because the longer you wait to begin, the less likely you are to find it at all. Thoreau said, "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation." Don't be resigned to that. Break out!"

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back:
"Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hm? And well you should not. For my ally is the Force. And a powerful ally it is. Life creates it. Makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us, and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you. Here between you, me, the rock, the tree, everywhere. Yes, even between land and ship."

Taxi Driver:
"You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Then who the hell else are you talkin' to? You talkin' to me? Well I'm the only one here. Who do you think you're talking to? Oh yeah? Huh? Ok."

There are so many lines in film that are my favorite. I think the ones I like the most are from Arnold Schwarzenegger. The first one that comes to mind is:

"Remember, Sully, when I promised to kill you last? I lied!"

That comes from one of my all time favorite films "Commando." Such a classic. I think Arnold gave the best delivery of the line "I lied" that I've seen in a film. It might cheesy, but it still makes me smirk when I see that scene.
