Hi been looking for a free website can't afford to by web space and the cheapest for mysq is like £18 amonth and then you dont as much space. Being unemplyed and attempting to learn web site design , I think FriHost have got it spot on !!

I agree with this,
But not too sure what the reasons are for the compulsory posts.Not that it is a terrible thing, just don't understand what the company gets out of it?

Basically this serves two purposes - one, they earn money from ads, and this keeps the site free. Two, its fun, and helps create a community!!!

i agree with bananaphone! the community thing is what the majority of free hosting sites lack!
