i am having problems with my game, when i save a game, quit it and load it again the game loads fine but it pauses the game and it wont resume, how can i resume the game?

Can you see the menu in the top right side of the screen?
If so, you just unpause the game by clicking the first menu entry.
That game is OK, but the fact that it will only run on XP made me mad at it... ****ing Microsoft monopoly...

there are lots of bugs in aoe3. wait for update patch.
you could also trie to make a patch yourself.
there are a lot of progams witch allow you to get in the program code and change it.

AOE III runs really slowly with my computer. i almost never save games so i don't think i have that problem
so, why do you play that game?
Sorry about that last post, I hadn't done my research. (it didn't work did it?) I have figured it out now by duplicating the problem.
Solution: press the pause/break key on the keyboard, which is the default pause/ unpause shortcut for the game!
Realy, it does work. (leave it to Microsoft not to let you customize shortcut keys.)
