Earth and Moon using blue marble

and thought i might share this with u

I used new maps that NASA released few weeks ago, Blue Marble
they r really high resolution, and its 12 of them, one for each month
and of course bump maps, reflection etc
i still can't get the atmosphere to look nice, maby u can guide me
anyway, wainting for ur opinioons

Very cool image!

For the atmosphere, I find that picking a spot on the middle of the horizon and trying to emit light from it can be quite effective. Have a hint of blue around the edge of Earth, and a spot where it gets brighter. ^^
