1) If they argue that the riots are caused by poverty, they discredit the heavily socialist policies of France.
2) If they blame it on the real cause, Islamo-fascism (which they won't), they open the door to some all to real dialogue about the true threat they have been in denial about for years.
Either option is a victory for us. I think it is best for us to hammer on number 1.

I think you are right with no.1 .Poverty is certainly the issue, and the treatment the government gave the people in these "ghettoised" areas of Paris is quite shambolic. Severely oppressing people will eventually lead to the consequences that we are seeing now, and the response?

You can just wait to see what is going to happen tonight, as far as i know nobody is allowed to get out tonight. But i'm quite certain there will be riots again as there were the last few days. I heard some news about the same kind of riots starting in some places in Belgium en Germany. I hope this isn't going to spread all over europe. That would be a shame
