Privacy protection, privacyprotect.org

THE11thROCK™
Hey guys, just want to check if anyone here has had an experience with privacyprotect.org.

I would like to protect some of my client's whois contact information from harvesters and identity fraud, but I don't know if it's perfectly okay to use technology like this. The domain registrar that I registered the domains with have this feature of protection. However, upon checking, the protection is provided by privacyprotect.org. I see a lot of negative comments of the website in WOT and some bad ratings, but most of them I think are purely out of hatred and partisan attacks.

What I would like to know is the professional and honest opinion of legitimate webmasters/admins who's had experience with this. Is it okay with ICann to privatize the contact and use a service like this? If yes, is this site truly safe for registrars? Thanks in advance.
