What's your heart rate at rest?
The easiest way to find out is to lay down for a while and count the number of heart beats during one minute. The lowest heart beat is usually found right after you have woken up (If you are in need it might help if you go to the toilet and drink water first).
Note that sitting in front of a computer is not resting. I have about 50 bpm right now (not at rest) while this morning I had 38 bpm (at rest).
Mine looks like 68. I'm sitting what I thought was at rest in a library. Will check this out later tonight when I'm in my hotel room.
Zero, by definition. Fortunately, my heart hasn't been "at rest" yet for more than a couple of seconds at a time.
On a more serious note, your rate of 38 is surprisingly low, and probably a sign of good health and physical condition. I would think my rate is more like seventy. I have measured it around that when I just woke up, but possibly not fully relaxed.
The basic assumption of the heart beat when we are in rest is 72 beats /minute.
people having the breath in problem have different beat rate.
I checked my pulse, and the results was 64 beats /minute.
Normally, my heart rate below 60 beats per minute.
To get the actual value of the resting pulse you really need to be some time at rest.
About 70 for me, 38 is not normal dude, either you can't count, you're lying or you have unhuman natural abilities :p
My heart rate at rest is 64 beats per minute
Thats not good enough for our age.
