Billy Talent is pretty cool but I don't listen to them much...

I like a little ZZ Top and Green Day, but my all-around favorite is Godsmack. Started in the 1990's, they have released about five cd's, toured with Metallica, and emblazened themselves as my all-time favorite band. Check out www.godsmack.com. It won't dissapoint.
