Working of an LDR

asnani04
Hello. I'm making a working model of variation of resistance of an LDR with change in intensity of incident light source, for my school exams. Can anyone offer a little help and let me know the basics of how a Light Dependent Resistor works, and how to maximise its utility. Also, if you can provide the relevant formulae and physical laws and precautions to be taken, I'll be very thankful. Smile

Cadmium Sulphide cells change resistance with varying light intensity. They have been in use for years and are still used today.
