right heres how it works you post your url below and then take the following file http://www.themesite.co.uk/links.txt and change it into a php file (open it in note pad and save as links.php and upload to your site then put a link to that page on the page you submitted below i.e. "http://www.yoursite.com/links.php?one" if no link found on the page you submit your site will not be enterd into the list
heres how it works:

2)copy and paste the txt from: http://www.themesite.co.uk/links.txt into a notepad file and save as links.php
3)upload links.php to your server
4)put a link on the URL that you posted below to "http://example.frohost.net/links.php?one"
5) sit back and wait untill googles next update
p.s. you must link to the file with "?one" after the file or it wont work

well yes but u need up dload that txt file and change it into a php file, then upload it to ur site and put a link on your page to that, then you be added to the list but if u wait 15mins i will upload the file as a zip so people can dload it and just unzip it, upload it to there site and link it.

you must include the "?one" after the file name on the link

In the zip file, you will find a links.php.
Upload links.php to public_html.
Open Internet Explorer / Mozilla Firefox / Your internet broswer, point your broswer to
http://domain.tld/links.php?one
And you are done.
When you do that, your website will be placed on this website :
http://www.themesite.co.uk/links.php?one
Google will spider that webpage and it will go to your webpage too

by putting a link on your page to the newly uploaded page is the reason for it so that you are linking to every1 on the list with just one link!

You lost me. Remember these points
Point 1:
Google spiders while going through a webpage, indexes all the links in that page and crawls to the target pages of those links.
Point 2:
The PHP file billybob is telling about contains a list of URLs (links), in which u can include ur website link also.
What u have to do
Step 1: Download the ZIP file and unzip to get the PHP file.
Step 2: Upload that PHP file into your website (public_html folder)
Step 3: In your homepage or any other page, Put a link to http://yourdomain.com/links.php/?one
Step 4: Now click on that link. Your website link will be added into that PHP file.
Working procedure
1: When Search engine spiders your site, or any other site having the link to links.php,
2: It goes to the links.php file from the link.
3: Spiders crawl through links.php page on your server, and indexes the list of links (of all sites in that list)
4: Search engine spiders those other sites, and finds links.php link in their webpages also.
5: Search engine goes through their links.php file.
6: Spider finds your URL in those PHP files also.
7: For every reciprocal link found, your site popularity increases.
Theory
Basically it's the C2D principle.. The "Co-operate 2 Dominate" principle. I will put other's links in my websites, and others put my website link in their webpages. So when spiders crawl through these pages, they find multiple hits to each site from each site and so popularity increases. So we help each other and we'll be reaching good ranking because of multiple hits.
The PHP file here undoes the task of adding the huge list of links (which keeps on increasing) into our webpages. It automates the process by dynamically updating the .php file whenever a new link gets added.

this is an extremely bad idea. just any kind of linking isn't a good plan especially when it's irrelevant.

may i ask why it is so bad?People remove their feed of the link list is why it is a bad idea, and may I reccomend you use rss feed, so everyone can display a active link list, or even a random link on each page. I might join if this is a success, but only if there is some sort of security.
I see this as a better way of making a better SEO in google for your site. I'll try to add that php link in my site. When I finish doing so, i'll give you my donation. Thanks by the way.

this is a good idea, and the essential beginnings of a link exchange. however it is always best to link with sites that have some relation to your own. That involves the link exchange to be very big and properly categorised. However users (like me) dont join, because they fear google penalising them for trying to increase backlinks. also google has got new algorithms to determine whether the sites you link to have similar content or are just there for backlink purposes.
