u know hp now makes routers against cisco as its rival and also hp gives a sertification program like as cisco[also hp routing configuration web-based] .. what do u think hp can defeat cisco ?

No way, cisco has that huge market share and it not going to let that go.
About the competitors I dont really know, for IP routers they just rule over everyone, for ATM SDH etc etc you have Lucentm Nortel, Alcatel etc.

maybe hp sees the cisco routers' faults bottlenecks or e.t.c once the company i worked in a day we ccouldnt do anything everything locked and we dont know why it makes me crazy guess what ? ... firewall of a cisco router halted
