partitioning the harddisk

To Partion your hardisk just follow the simple steps
1.You need one of the following
i>a win98 bootable cd
ii>a disk partioning tool like partition magic
iii>a winxp bootable cd
2.with win98
just boot the computer with cdrom support
type fdisk in the command prompt
take yes option for large partition support
choose opion 1 for creating new partition
choose type of partition
select the amount of disk space for new partition
then select yes option for creating

Please be carefull when you are using this option
you should know wat you are doing before you procede

it´s more easy to use, but I'm not use partition magic...

Dont use fdisk - it can render you hardrive unbootable!

Use partition magic. that easy to use and also safe for partition ur drive.

you can also make a linux partition with this program

I just use linux to partition my drives.
If i'm installing linux, I use the installation program.
If i'm installing windows, I use a bootable CD.
