The major problems are
1.Your os doesnot boot
2.You may get error message about missing dlls
3.You may get blank screen when you login to your computer
4.You may have problems during multiboot systems
5.You may have problem with your microsoft os when you install linux
6.You may have problem accessing NTFS files system in Linux
