1040 -Too many connections

RoylanM
I'm getting this error about having to many connections on mysql, what's happening?

Glad this was here when I came to the forum. I was coming to ask the same question. At first I thought it was my open cart, and when to their support forum, but was told it was a server issue. Hopefully it won't take long to rectify. It is warming to know it's not just me having the issues though. (I was playing around on my site yesterday and thought I may have done something - thankfully, I also backed up EVERYTHING yesterday....)

I backed up all my db's and all my site files.
