speaker sizes and power ratings

i'm looking to buy lyk 1 2.1 pkr setup 4 my pc
does the size of the subwoofer (6.5" 8" 5") reeli matter that much
and is it worth paying 35 bux more for a sub that has 4 watts more power and satelties with 3 watts more power?

Of course the size of the sub matters if you want more bass. The bigger the sub the more air the speaker can push in one beat thus more bass. As far as $35 more for 4 extra watts, no way your better off spending about another 50 with that and getting another external power wolfer

On this scale such a small difference isn't really worth the cash. You should be concentrating on the quality of the sound rather than the volume.

I think primarily it is not a question of watts, it depends on the acoustic pressure. For a good home performance you should have a system with about 90 to 95 db.
