if i remeber rightly if you go to my computer then right click on the drive hit properties then there should be a button some where that says NTFS i think?
or failing that get hold of Ppartition magic being very carfull using it it hsould contain a utility to do this job for you good luck mate

You can actually do it with the CONVERT command on WIndows.
START | RUN | CMD
enter this: CONVERT C:/FS:NTFS
That should do it.

but it will be that if I to convert for NTFS naum will have that to format my HD and consequentemente I will lose all my data? it would have that to make one bakcup?
From FAT32 --> NTFS , no data lost.
NTFS --> FAT32 , alot of data lost.
And besides, converting from NTFS --> FAT32 is an hassle.

its not very hard just google and u will find it. but u can do it with some free programs and with your windows xp and 2000 install cd

Is it safe to do the change also in laptops? I did it before on home pc, but now when I own a laptop, I have been a bit uncouraged for that... Is it possible to get a linux working beside the ntfs-partition?
