Meat you've eaten..

shashwatblack
what are the animals whose meat you have eaten..
i haven't eaten anything to stand out, just chicken, mutton, buff, pigeon, duck, fish and pork.
my grandfather told me stories about when they went hunting, and killed deer, boar, and peacocks and bring them home to eat, and add the antlers to the collection.. it's sad we can never have such experience..
coolclay
Why can you never have that experience? It's never too late (unless the species goes extinct or something).

I have eaten so many different types of meat I am sure I will probably miss some. Also would you classify insects as meat, because then the list really gets long. Also you realize boar is the same as pork right?

Squirrel
Beaver
Elk
Caribou
Deer
Quail
Dove
Pigeon
Woodcock
Rattlesnake
Nutria
Jellyfish
Squid
Cuttlefish
Earthworms
Crawfish
Slipper Lobster
Sea urchin

I am sure I am missing a lot (this was just off the top of my head), I didn't include insects even though in my opinion they would be meat because they are animals. Especially considering they contain more protein than most meat, but if I listed them it would take all day!

This is hard... Let me see...

1. Cow (favorite meat <3)
2. Chicken
3. Fish (several type of, cartilaginous and bony)
4. Shrimp (I'm a sucker for shrimp. I would eat every day if I could)
5. Octopus (love takoyaki)
6. Lamb (if you know how to prepare it, it's succulent and delicious)
7. Pig
8. Duck
9. Crab (tasty, me gusta! I guess that the funny part is broking the carapace)
10. Scallop
11. Capybara (DISGUSTING, I'll never eat again)
12. Alligator (tastes like chicken/fish)
13. Mussel

These are the ones I can remember now. I'll edit my list if I remember more animals. Smile
Also when I was a baby I ate a scarab. But I don't think this counts hahahaha!
