About the new chairman of the FED

risuarez
Hello. As you all might know. We have a new chairman for the board of governors of the federal reserve. his name is Benjamin Bernanke. And he willl be replacing Mr. Alan Greenspan who was in office for 18 years or so. Do you think things are going to change or everything will remain equal.

Life have alwasy taugh me that when a new person takes office he always tries to make his mark. So U thing he will change things just to make clear that he is a different man.

Wow, that's really sad. I am a fan of Greenspan. But let's be fair. Let's give the new man a chance to prove himself. We'll never know...

The Maestro is a tough man to follow. My guess is that he will employ a similar strategy as Greenspan. This position doesn't really allow for much lattitude to make one's mark. In a recession, you know someone who has lost their job. In a depression, you lose your job. Real risks like these, at a national level, must make this job unenviable... Best of luck to Bernanke.

Not essentially, no. He will continue robbing us of our money just like his predecessor. The only thing he might change is the methods -- the result, however, is certain to be the same.
