At the moment I am currently reading the first book in a trilogy by Lynn Flewelling. It's called "Luck In the Shadows". I am a huge fan of fantasy and science fiction. I just got done reading a trilogy by Carol Berg that I thought was an awesome read.
As for reading vampire tales; there's no question Anne Rice beats just about any other vampire story I have ever read. I like how her vampires aren't the cliqued monster of the past, but she came up with a very unique vampire. I adore Lestat, Marius, and Pandora. I hope that the Vampire Chronicles continue to grow, I recently purchased the remaining books I didn't have in hardbound first editions.
