Hi Everyone,
Sometimes, you just have to reinstall XP, and you need to activate it again.
Their are several ways to do this. You can contact microsoft by phone, through the internet OR you can, before reinstalling, copy wpa.dbl from system32 to a floppy, and put it back after the reinstall. This method is LEGAL! You copy wpa.dbl from system32 to a floppy, you reinstall XP, you boot in save mode, you put wpa.dbl back into system32, you restart your system in normal mode and it SHOULD be activated.
Because I had to format, I thougt.. "lets try" and I tried it and it DIDN'T work. Is there anyone who has already tried this and did it work when you tried it?
James
