I have a pc and i dont want to consume anymore or renew my anti-virus license. I was doing some researched and i am looking for effective anti virus free. Is a Microsoft essential reliable anti-virus? Anyone can suggest a good free anti-virus?

Comodo releases can be buggy. When they work, they work great. When they dont' they bog down your machine.
I use Microsoft Essentials and it work sjust fine. You can also try the free edition of adaware (www.adaware.com) which works fine as well.[/url]
I'm a fan of Microsoft Security Essentials, and that's what I'm using now on all my PCs. No problems with it (yet), and I love how transparent it is. It also runs scans on individual files very quickly, especially compared to McAfee (I scan every file I download manually, just to be extra safe).
