BlackBerry replacement

Tony The Tiger
In September, I received a replacement for my BlackBerry Torch 9810. It does not seem to have the same functionality as the original. I have been having trouble configuring it to backup and I am noticing that I do not seem to be able to perform one-touch dialing to numbers in my call log. Instead, I have to hold my finger on the number that I want to dial until it presents a menu option box. Then I can choose the call button from that set of options. Is there a mode or parameter that I can change to restore the same one-touch dialing that I have when I am in my contacts list to calling options for when I am in the call log.
