As you know, tomorrow is a big day. The first war to emperialism in 20th century.
Turks won it. we are happy know, to being indepentend. and also to show way another countries.
This day ( 29 October 1923 ) is not just Turk's day, it's a day of all peoples.
World News?
o.O
Is this world news!?
No. I'm curious. Not an attempt at spam.
Why isn't it a world news?

I've never heard of it.
Perhaps a touch of hyperbole there.
Yes, it is world news as it pertains to the world...
As for being the biggest day in world history, I doubt it.

I beg to agree with it.
Seems our co-member is just proud for being the first country to be "independent" and fight for "country's freedom" (correct me if im wrong
) from emperialism during it first started (1800's to 1900's: Decades where European countries exploration took place).
I really don't know.. I can't digest the idea that was popped here.

emperialism [sic] you say?
In any case preserving liberty is worth celebrating.
the biggest day?
not exactly
hardly the biggest day, I doubt it would even enter a top ten
and the biggest day in history....hard to point out I think, we could go back thousands of years and it would still be up for debate
maybe that fatefull day when candy and/or chocolate was invented and corrupted us all
I am afraid that the Turks have a selective memory. Maybe the October 29th was a big day for Turkey, but what about the dark days of Armenian genoside?
Anyone ever heard of the Armenian Genocide?? Not many turkish people like to talk about that one..
