MaxPC (http://www.maxpc.co.uk/tutorials/) offers free tutorials about hardware, internet technology (like asp, xml, php, flash, javascript, html,...), linux, windows & office, and programming. I already found some of these tutorials very useful for me. I hope you'll enjoy reading and applying them too.
If you want to learn about the standard technologies that W3C (the Internet standards body : World Wide Web Consortium) proposes, you can find useful tutorials at the source. W3C has a specific website which offers free tutorials : http://www.w3schools.com/. You can start learning about basic things like html, css,... but also more advanced topics like XSL(T), XSL-FO, XPath, SOAP, RSS,... or scripting languages (javascript, vbscript, dhtml,...) or server scripting (sql, asp, php,...), or multimedia things like SVG. The tutorials explain the technologies in a simple way, with lots of clear examples. The step by step approach gives you the possibility to try and apply the samples by yourself, and there is a very good navigation to choose the topic you want if you have a specific question. A useful quick reference is foreseen (at least in some of the courses I learned on their site).
