Have you ever tried this out with your camera?

1.Connect your camera to your computer.
2.Aim the camera at the screen of your computer.
3.Open a video capture software.
The question is,
how many program windows will you see on your computer's screen?
Haha....
Have fun...
that reminds of Dead loop....

All the time creating cool effects with video feedback. Started as a kid with analogue camcorders in the 90s.

I used a little bit of analogue footage I still and put some fx over it here

The number of pixels tall the screen is divided by 2, at maximum. (Assuming you can frame the video exactly enough to capture just one pixel of the framing window on all sides.)

Lol very logical but it depends on how accurately the camera reproduces the picture. Tends to degrade into blackness due to less and less brightness being recaptured (?). Maybe I am thinking analogue still

Now switch off the camera again.
Take another picture.
Count how many windows you can see.
Surprised

Er... Your topic reminds me of another phenomenon.
There are occasionally two mirrors on the walls against each other in a barber shop. You can see unlimited mirrors in both of them~
But as ocalhoun said, the screen can't act like a real mirror for there are limited pixels on it~ That may be the only difference. Very Happy
