Quick question right I record my videos using igrabber which is a standard Definiton capture card and it makes my videos into mov which is quicktime I plan on getting a better capture card soon. but for right now I wanna can I keep the same format or use a different one?
Youtube supports almost all video formats and video format should not be a problem. But you might wanna consider reducing the size of the video because in my experience, uploading video on youtube is too damn slow.
after you've captured your material in MOV (with a codec maybe they are DV) it is better to convert them using MPEGStreamclip (free) into mp4 to speed up the transfer by reducing the file size while keeping the quality.
convert to mp4 format which is compressed and HD quality
for teh best performace upload in AVI format or MPEG2. That way your YT vids will not freeze for some users.
Does not matter. Unless you are using some very unpopular format, youtube will convert the videos automatically.
