If you dont want to wait tor DNS propagation

Prabhu Raj
Hi if you dont want to wait for DNS propagation that happens sometime between 24 to 72 hours then book your domain with http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/domains/

it takes some where between 1 to 3 hours for you to get it propagated.

the reason: pretty simple yahoo is the most used email, chat, games, search, etc service in the world
and so DNS propagation for them takes less time than other registrars.

Beleive me i have acheived it in less than 1 hour.

If you set the TTL for a low value, you can get the DNS changes propogated very fast.

I've never had to wait for over an hour for DNS propagation anyway. I think they give leadtimes of 24 - 72 hours as a worse case scenario to cover their backs. Smile

Eh, I waited 5 minutes.

I have never waited for more than 2 hours for any DNS propogation to be occur. With the activity of the net today these changes are replicated in virtually real time.

It depends on the class of the registrar, especially ICANN accreditation, and name server priority.
