Whats your favourite pie filling?
Spam. Mmmm, delicious spam and kidney pie. Or spam and beef. Or, my personal favourite, spam, cheese and bacon.
blueberry is nice~ apple is nice too, but I love blueberry more... I like to have pie with chocolate and milk.... it make me fat....

I would have to say that my favorite pie filling would be apple, because apples are just great tasting.
and Boston Cream pie doesn't count, since it's made with cake, then....
Chocolate Cream pie. Topped with Kool Whip or the canned whipped cream and preferably made with a chocolate cookie (Oreo (R) ) crust, not a gramham cracker or regular pie crust.
I'm assuming dessert pies are the only ones that count and only those usually thought of as pies... Otherwise chicken pot pot pie or shepard's pie would be even higher on the list then anything except chocolate and / or cherry topped cheesecake.
We could have a whole food topic, if there isn't one already.

I love Ruhbard pie (i hate spelling). Gimme it any day and ill have it no problem.

mi favourte was not in the list : abricot. and the winning pie is 'smurfentaart', or what you would call 'tarte des schtroumphes' : a smooth abricot stuffing, topped with 'slagroom' (schlagzahne, crème fraiche,cream), topped with white chocolate. When you come to belgium try one : delicious.

Yeah, man. Chocolate pie is the way to go.
Pecan is also usually pretty amazing, as is pumpkin pie. I'd say pumpkin pie is actually second to chocolate.
On a side note, I think cheesecake should really be counted as a pie, because it shares many more qualities with pies than it does with cakes. And it essentially beats all other pies.
In conclusion, the best true pie is cheesecake.
