Kinda dumb question regarding DNS

I know this is a dumb question, but I'm not that good with stuff like this. Embarassed

So, I was wondering...with InvisionFree you have a domain manager where if you set up a domain with DNS you can make it appear to be hosted on the domain. Can you do that with regular websites? If so, how??

Don't really know what you mean..

If you have a domain, change the nameservers to those here:

http://frihost.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3

Wait for 24-48 hours (depending on who you bought the domain from). If you see your site up when you point to the domain, then you are done Wink

Between the waiting time, you have to point to your subdomain on Frihost to access your site.

frihost has the domain manager ??

If so the answer is
YES ~!
Frihost cpanel has the domain manager
itself

You can add in more than 1 domain ...

Its not a very stupid question actually, many people have hard time figuring out how to work with DNS and how to use it. Best thing to do is ask here, dont be afraid.

I ran into this problem before, and thought I had to set up a nameserver from scratch myself. This saves a lot of time.

Hi invision has a feature that can integrate with cpanel so that invision softwares can be installed on the website you wish to install. It isnt a domain manager but a feature for the above.
