Anyway, the best keeper in the world is Edwin van der Sar. He is one of the peopele why Holland will go to Germany 2006 next summer. For Ma. United he's also a great goalie.

He's got the size, the athletecism, and the decision making to potentially stop any shot. He also has the leadership ability to coordinate the defense. He is the Dutch captain after all.

Buffon is good for sure, but Anti Niemi of Southampton is elite. He needs to be because he gets plenty of exercise!!
That giant CSKA Moscow keeper looks pretty useful (Igor Akinfeev). He must be the best young keeper in the world.

It is/was Buffon for a few seasons, but he is injured currently. Casillas is good and still young even though he's been around for years. Cech is good but it helps when you've got a good defence in front of you.

The best keepers is Buffon and Casillas, but the best goalie EVER, that is Peter Schmeichel.
