What does "Fri" represent?
In my country (Peland) "i" is being read as "e" in english so reading "Frihost" in half-polish english sounds like "freehost" - So this domain is well-remmembered to Poles. and I like it 
Like chorazy said, "i" is read as "ee" (freehost) in many countries and languages. It's also the abbreviation of Free Reliable Internet HOSTing.
Oh - that's good - Reliable - by the way - was the server out in the last time? I don't believe it is On all and all - but I didn't see any Offline moments.

Me too. "Free reliable internet host" is what it says on the homepage at http://frihost.com .

Yeah ... in my country (Indonesia) ... frihost would spelled as "freehost" in english
so "fri" wouldn't annoy me

You come from Indonesia? I'm Vietnamese.
In VN, we not use "fri" as "free", but I can recognize that "FriHost" means "FreeHost".
However, we don't use English as frist language like people here.
That's why I can't see Vietnamese here.

It probably was going to be called Free Host... but since there are so many different webspace providers it was already taken, and they had to change it to Fri Host.
