Hello All Graphic Designers

Is it better for a Graphic Designer to be self-employed or to work for a large company?

I just learned about this website and hope it turns out well. So after posting five posts, how many more or how often do i need to post again.

I'm currently Studying to become a Graphic Designer. I think it's a great field and an exciting career. I also like to draw. After taking drawing I, i learned that i was good at drawing. I like to draw perspective drawings, meaning buildings and stuff like that. If there are any other Graphic Designers in here, drop me a message or something.

Hi,

i think that the two ways are good if you very very good and you have future its good to make it by your self (after some time you can even open your own company) but if you are good but you havent noone to sell your works the only way is go and work in some company

I've never been employed by a company, as I'm still in high school and haven't gone to college yet thus I can't be hired or anything of the sort. However, I work doing web design for small companies, farms and some advertising flyers and such. In the end, although I'll most likly end up working for a company right out of college, I'd like to open my own design company. Smile That would be ideal.
