Um, why would you reference (with any seriousness) a site that clearly has at the top of the page "Propaganda Matrix" and expect semi-intellegent readers to believe it?

not sure I want to believe; but it never hurts to read about possible government foulplay - gotta keep 'em on their toes. thanks for sharing Ressurrector.

it ain' even possible that that is true or even that it would constitute foulplay examination. whats the deal with you libs and trying to believe and do anything to criminalize the Bush Administration

I think you jumped to afew conclusions there hch.

1) I didn't say I did believe

2) I'm not a "lib" whatever that means anyway

3) how do you know anything about my motives?

I just think it is good not to overglorify one's government because history has shown us that government's of all types (liberal, republican, communist, socialist, royalty, or whoever), will often try to manipulate the public with lies of some kind or another - whether their intentions are good or not.

That said, I choose to consider all possibilities when deciding what I will and will not believe. (thank you very much)

Excellent. Let's all keep and bear arms. Point them the next time any government officer passes you by - that ought to keep him/her on his toes!
In fact, let's all take our guns and just go to Washington.Rolling Eyes

Excellent. Lets all spin things out of context to make a point that would justify our arguments. Rolling Eyes

Have you looked at the other articles on the page?
It's like the liberal extremist version of the national enquirer.

Why is it every time I read earthchild’s posts I feel like I just ate a sugar cookie?

Anyway, on a more serious note, thanks for the AFDB gonzo. I have really been having trouble keeping mine on lately and with the cats always pulling the foil off the walls it is almost necessary. I’m starting to think that they might be in on it. I mean, I know one of them is, and I am suspicious of a few other. I’m fairly certain Tocy and Ramsy aren’t, but they were probably kept out of the loop on account of their stupidity.

Lets see...

First Person says... " Let's keep our congressmen on their toes " ( or something to that effect.

Second Person helpfully gives link to Gun Promotion Site http://KeepAndBearArms.com

Third Person...therefore concludes that Second Person is helpfully suggesting to keep Congressmen on their toes by using Guns.

Out of Context? Seems pretty straightforward deduction and comprehension to me.

Maybe you've been having brown-sugar cookies.

Sure, let's all do that...
*note : "all" here includes muppet characters. Very Happy
By the way, at least I posta post valid in the context of the discussion as it progressed from the beginning... However, you post was a one-liner on how mine is apparently out of context. Yay.
