I just noticed new ads on the left side of view forum. I think they are a little distracting and would be better on the right side. Maybe it's just me

I'm trying them out at the moment. I don't know of I'll keep them this way.
They are supposed to catch your attention, but if they really are too disturbing, then I'll remove them.

I'm currently looking at the site with IE Beta 7.0.5112.0, and when the screen is maximized the right hand side of the of the forum area is cut off with the adds on the left side.
A scroll bar only appears when the screen is not maximized...
I wouldn't worry about it as it's a beta, however IE 7 is from my experience VERY similiar to IE 6 in displaying pages, so it might be a good idea to test it with IE 6...
Also, I prefer the adds at the top it looks cluttered with them on the left, and harder to read the ads and the forum...

I think if you just move them to the right, it would work fine personally.

Same here. I using opera browser too. The last column just gone and it didn't even has the bottom scroll bar.
Move it to the right please. And I hate the new replies collom.

Please turn off your ad-blockers when visiting FRIHost forums.
This service survives on the ads.
If you block the ads, you will never find out one that interests you...
if you don't find an interesting one, you'll never click on it...
and hence forth...
Now on topic, the ads definitely are distorting the topic-list page.
I tried it on IE6.0 (SP1) and Opera 8.50 which both truncate the rightmost column (which should be the "Last Post" column, I believe).
I don't mind which side they are aligned on, only the column truncation should be taken care of.
i dont use an adblocker but it's still unhandy because i don't have a horizontal scroll bar when viewing the forum/topic list
