i just ran a search for free php hosts, this looked like the best to me. These forums are definitely very good.
A site I visit a bunch switched to Frihost and I decided just to see what it was like because I had found my previous host because they used it too.
Well, I found this website through google searching, i have been searching for a good host with good features and its so hard to find one anyways I found "Frihost" which looks like a really good host to me and hope that it will be a good host when i get it.

I found frihost after, it was mentioned on my prior webhost who was shutting downs forum. Boy am I glad I did too, this is tons better then my first free host! Three cheers for frihost!

I used google search trying to find a good web host to build my web site on.
I am very glad i found frihost. The service that they offer is first class. I am proud to have them for my hosting services.

I found out about frihost after searching through various free webspace listing, and the amount of 250mb and 10gb jumped out at me.

Well, it was simple. After my former host told us to backup our files because they will be closing their free hosting accounts, I searched again at clickherefree to find another host. Then I serached also at freewebspace.net to find one and I've found Frihost that only requires you to post 5 messages before you can apply. So, I made up my mind and thought that this one is reliable.

Also through google, though I must of passed it a few times because I thought it was some kind of 'You have to register and give all your details phone number address e-mail etc.' so that they could then sell it onto thrid paties making a mint but ruinging my privacy (I know that is a stupid thing privacy on the net because any hacker worth his money could find out everytihng but I just don't like giving any of my details away to people)., Lucking I gave it a chance really concerdering it's such a fine website hosting service...

I was searching for ad-blocking script, but I came up with zilcho except a site promising free hosting without ads. So I took a chance and clicked the one that seemed most appealing (this one). I haven't reached the request limit yet, but I am really looking forward to what this site has to offer.

I was born in Montreal, but now live in Toronto. I spent a few years in Vancouver, Ottawa, and Alberta. I think I have seen enough of Canada, now working on moving to Mexico, or Taiwan. Not sure.

I found fri host from a freind of mine. He thought that the whole hosting this was very very confusing to him, and I laughed at him. Very very hard.
I found it through Google the same way a lot of others seem to have. search free webhosting, picked a free webhosting search page that ranks the sites and as soon as I saw Free Frihost with 250Mb disk space, 10Gb bandwidth, and NO ads I was sorted

I heared about frihost through one of my teachers. He was showing me how reliable it was and all. And I was like awesome!

My old host just up and dissappeard. They gave like 100 megs of space and 3 gigs bandwidth and I was like "it's never gonna get better than that!" Then I did some google searching I found Frihost and I was all like "omg this is cool."
Before this, I got a web hosting already, but after some time, I started to feel disappointed - mainly because of the lack of support and the commercial influence. I won't quote the site 
. I went on to do a Google search on 'web hosting', nothing good. Then I add a 'free' in front, hmm...I think this is okay. Clicked on it, and i'm now on www.free-webhosts.com. It's a directory of other web hosting service. I searched...searched...and searched....... I went to some other web hosters. I either felt it wasn't good enough, or I submit a application, but never got a reply. Finally I found one that's free, without forced ads (really important), decent amount of space (don't think I need more), not so much terms and conditions, and lots of 'unlimited' stuff (pretty cool). Well, that's my story.

First I got fed up with the host that doesn't support MAMBO. So, i went on searching in the google. I did not type "FREE Host PHP" , etc. i typed "Free PHP Host Finder", and I start going into one of the link. In the website, I saw FriHost and its review has very interesting and promising feature, so i went into FriHost and here I am...
I used Google to find some free web hosting sites. I visited http://www.freewebspace.net/ and there I read about FriHost.
As far as I know, currently FriHost is the best hosting site I've ever used.

I found it by doing a search for free webhosts I was tired the webspace provided by my ISP, I couldn't run perl scripts or PHP...not even any databases. So after reading for a little while and jsut reading thru alot of the forum topics here, I decided this was the place for me....and I don't regret it a bit. They will have to throw me kicking and screaming out of here, cuz I ain't gonna leave on my own
I found it from Freewebspace.com. Looking for a host and it was the 2nd on my list of the search I had made.
I found it on Google. I was fed up of banners and spam on my other 'free' websites. Though when I found Frihost, they had just put ads on the forum, and quote a few topics where about saying what do you think of the new ads, and I thought that just as I joined they had added adverts onto your webpage, lol. Fortunatly that wasn't the case and there were just ads on the forums.
Someone listed it in her blog, said it was free. I like free. Free is good. Very.
I followed a link from somewhere and decided to join the community. After about I month I decided to request for hosting, I got my account, and now I'm also a moderator.
Heard about it through word-of-mouth right after it started up.
Found using a special search engine.. don't remember the address.
I first found put about frihost from a web directory. Thank god i did or i never would have found such a suitable host.
I needed more space for my wapsite, SO i searched google, got a link to a hosting directory and frihost was somewhere at the top. Still havent migrated my site. Dont really have the time. NJOY
Another one for www.freewebspace.net . I think it came up second on the list. I looked at a few others that had no ads but they all had some catch or bad feedback.

i was in another freehosting forums when a friend of mine informed me about frihost then i landed up here

my old host Went doWn and they Were offering 200mb space and 5 gig transfer so i googled and found the link to this

It provides a nice way of earning how many days your site can be up, and it's currently working for me (just applied for hosting today, yay).

I found Frihost through a search engine. I was looking for a host with PHP support. (MySQL was irrelevant at that time.) Some results came up, including Frihost. To be honest, I didn't believe its offers for months. Then I started posting - just to give it a try. Now I still don't have a web hosting (due to personal reasons!!!!), but I got addicted to the community.
for me, i couldn't find ANYWHERE that gave free, and i mean FREE, web hosting. i still didnt get a peek of what i'm going to get because i'm not done with the five posts. i'm very active in other forums i visit, so i guess five posts will go soon. well, it was listed second in freewebspace.net, but the first one had a review that said 'this isn't free!!!' so i came here. i like it so far!

..I read a thread at another forum by someone from here saying Frihost was the best out there. I wanted to check it out and by the end of it I got hooked. I dumped my old host and got my own frihost account.
I read reviews on one forum and people told, that this is far away best free web hosting. I had only bad experience with other free web hosting providers (some of them have too strict size limit, disk space, ads, no mysql support, no global support etc.) so I hope that this free web hosting will be good. Strange that this site is not added on http://www.free-webhosts.com/ website, where are most of free web hosting providers.

I found myself needing a free web host so I went on Google and searched for "free web hosting". Found the site www.freewebspace.net and used its search engine to find a hosting service that offered a decent amount of space, with no advertisements. I came across FriHost and now hopefully I'll be able to try it out and start creating a website! I'm looking forward to it!

Well, firstly, my old web host's (WebPlanetHost) new owner just got bankrupt, and all the sites hosted by him, and all his domain names, went into receivership (he put ads on all the sites in a desperate attempt to get more money).
Then, a FriHost member named 'Helios' needed help setting up a SMF forum MOD (my SMFShop). I noticed that his site was [something].frihost.net. I looked at the FriHost site, and liked the look of the hosting here. It was weird that I found new hosting literally on the day that I needed it; everything just fell together nicely.

I found it when searching for a host for my domain site and thought I'd give this place a try. I never thought I'd consider anything that would require me to post and be active on a forum, but I'd say this was a good way to start off, as some of the hosting companies I looked into expected more than I felt I could give them.

It seems that freewebhosts.net is the biggest way around here. Smart idea bondings. Did anyone else read his reveiw? It needs to be updated.

I googled Free web hosting and then I clicked on freewebspace.net, I think, which is a directory of free hosts then they showed me frihost which was the best on the list! GO FRIHOST!
