Any photography hobbyists here still shoot film? I have a Canon AE-1 and shoot Kodak 400 ASA film whenever I'm not snapping away with my Nikon DSLR. Share your thoughts on this waning art form, and let me know your favorite film stocks!
I thought you can't buy those SLR file reels anymore. But I think there is trend for Instant cameras like those old Polaroid instant cameras.
You can still get film, it's just harder to find.
I haven't done analogue photography in a while; my brother was taking a photography course, which included some film work, so I gave him my SLR. I've been considering getting a modern Nikon body that will work with my current lenses, but, I'm held back by the costs, both in terms of the unit and the use costs of film and processing. I just can't justify it when, really, I won't be doing anything that I can't do with my DSLR already, with instant results.
