Its a great site Brian; quite informative and useful.
I like the way a lot of things are explained.

I tried to download the kaspersky tssdkill.exe, and my trendmicro detected it as a virus, so maybe I need to check that again from the main kaspersky website.

Might I suggest a few points of my own though;

A lot of different malwares attack differently and some have their own cleaning / fix utilities... Perhaps you could opt a way for that kind of database, as your work in progress?
I doubt that one tool / antimalware will fix them all.

Also, possibly a discussion forum for the users, to put up their specific problems, and common ones can be segregated under one topic altogether.

Still, what you got is a real good thing going on. Kudos to you.

Hi menino,

It's a false positive. TDSSKiller is completely safe. You can report it to Trend Micro: http://community.trendmicro.com/t5/Home-and-Home-Office-Forum/How-do-I-report-a-false-positive/td-p/56138

Thanks for your suggestions. Creating a forum is an excellent idea! Smile

By the way, you have some interesting blog posts. I enjoyed reading them.

Hi everyone,

Recently, I've been getting questions about my recent update (particularly the part about removing SuperAntiSpyware). I would like share the reasons why I removed SAS.

I removed SuperAntiSpyware for the following main reasons:

1. SuperAntiSpyware has the lowest malware detection rates compared to Malwarebytes and HitmanPro.
2. The fact that HitmanPro uses 4 antivirus engines to detect malware.
3. Malwarebytes and HitmanPro provide adequate malware removal when used together.

SuperAntiSpyware is still an excellent product, and I will definitely keep an eye on it.

I´m using Malwarebytes at the client´s cpus (work with support) and its so efficient.

Good Site!

I typically had good feeling from Hijackthis.de, because you can have the analysis done online from a txt file you extract from the infected PC.

Then you fix what you feel you should. Yes, you need to apply your common sense and knowledge on what you fix / delete, but so far it had worked fine for me in the past.

Is that obsolete now?
