I was bored by a lot of the super hero comics, it all becomes a bit
repetitive in the end.
Years ago I hit on some interesting comics ..... one told the story of
a soldier in the civil war who hid away from the Union armies in a cellar.
Years later in the 1960s the house owners were doing some renovation and they found a skeleton sealed in a hidden chamber.
Another story was about a guy who married a witch.
She put a spell on him and he could nt see that she was really an ugly
old hag.
All his friends could see her for what she was but the poor young guy
was seeing her as a beautiful young woman.
They were very interesting comics, often with historical subjects
well illustrated and well laid out.
I had 12 or more of them years ago ............. wish I still had them, or could find them on line .
May be there is some comic publishing house that specializes in
these kind of subjects ?
