I downloaded and tested espeak

My experience so far

Good
1. Lite - Easy to install
2. Voices can be customize
3. Its free (GNU)
4. Good for starter

Bad
1. Only saves file in .wav format
2. Can only play .wav format
3. Voices are bit distorted (It may require some tweak to be fix)
4. text reading is good

Overall I give it 2.5 out of 5
