What kind of apps are there that might enable me to use my BlackBerry Torch 9810 like a Garmin. Is technology far enough along for me to sell off my Garmin yet?

I can not believe that no one has chimed in with a response to this topic. Is anyone else considering selling of their Garmin devices after replacing it with a smart phone or is it not possible to replace a Garmin Nuvi yet with a smart phone. I would find it hard to believe that the latter is the case.
