i want to make a domain controller but i would like to use something else than windows 2000 or 2003

I use Home Webserver it's small, easy to set up and free!

Create your website on your local machine, go to this link:

http://downstairs.dnsalias.net/homeserver_download.html

Download Home Web Server and install it. The rest is easy.

One problem have you a fixed IP address?

no, but it aint a webserver but a server who's connected to a homenetwork, not to the internet! and i need an active directory for al the users to log in!
do you understand my problem?
