is there some kind of alert/warning we can get via email to let us know our points have droped to a certain amount?

I was away for a few days so coundn't post and I see my points plumeted...

the alert has already been made and you should get 2 warnings by e-mail.

1st warning: -5 points

2nd warning: -10 points

After the second warning your account is marked for deletion (it doesn't get automatically deleted, but the advice is: never drop to negative points and if you are to be away for a long time, try and check with us)

How many points do you lose per day by not posting?

You lose 1Point a day at the moment, and you can now get up to 2.5Points per post. To be clear, nobody has been removed yet due to inactivity, but I will start to remove the people with the lowest post count pretty soon.

You don't have to worry unless you got the second and last (-10Points) email. And it's not done automatically. If I see that you were online lately or that someone posted quality posts, but not much, I might not remove that account.
