Totally agreed. Preferably on the same day. I guess if there should be any greetings going around it would be for Muslim Frihosters who are celebrating Eid Al Adha this week.

What an amazing sight. 80,000 muslims praying in the freezing streets of Moscow.

Christmas this early?!! Let's get November out of the way first hey?

Along Deans multi faith thoughts though, we could also celebrate the birthday of Guru Nanak (Sikh), or the birth of Baha'u'llah (Bahai), which celebrates the birth in 1817 of the founder of the Baha'i faith, all this week.

Look hard enough and there'll be some religious festival every week somewhere - seeing as there are so many different conflicting religions Rolling Eyes

The ber months is always Christmas. Very Happy

We just get closer and closer to the climax, where millions of Santa simultaneously barge into everyone's chimney.

Well Christmas is ready in stores and television ads but I do think it is all too early.
johans
we started celebrate Christmas if BER months are starting.

If you will not Celebrate Christmas starting BER months then i guess you have a short Christmas.

Has Pinkie Pie taught you nothing? Parties all the time forever! And if anybody disagrees it's only because they're secretly planning you a bigger party.

Also agreed.

If anyone were to make the argued that it should be celebrated all year round, I would have to agree, and start arguing that it is already.

But at least the commercialisation kept just to December. Please, some limits.
Hello_World
What is a BER month???

It's TOO early for this....

BER months- means Christmas is on the way or approaching.

SEPTEMBER--- Sign/reminder of Christmas season is approaching
OCTOBER-----Preparation for vacation by December- ticket booking, reservations and so on.
NOVEMBER--- Give way to All souls and all saints days for a week. Family gathering and sharing what to do with Christmass and the weather is starting cool and spirit for christmass is on the way
DECEMBER--- NO ONE CAN STOP IT. Christmass season.

Many of us and many believes that make "career new year resolutions" at the beginning of the year. We set career goals for the New Year. Well we have entered the famous "ber months", the four months that close out the year.

The first "ber" month, September is a good time to assess where we are from a career goals standpoint, because we may still have a chance to work on our strategy so we can meet our career goals for this year.

If you are like most of us, you probably have not met your goals for the year - this is not a time to make excuses or look for someone to blame. Get on with it, we are rooting for you.

My goal was to not make a goal.

As such, I failed automatically... and somewhat paradoxically.
Hello_World
Ah... that makes sense. BER sounded like a financial term LOL I get it now.

Well I still smoke, that is my resolution every year LOL.

I made a maths goal just the other day... couldn't wait for NY.

Well done ocalhoun LOL

Yeah the BER months are the best months. The sun starts peeking out in September, party months, heading towards holidays. Everyones birthdays are in September, everyone gets married in the BER months, all the events are in the BER months, graduations, Christmas, NY, Halloween...

Now I'm pretty sure that's not true at all.

And call me crazy, but the last time I checked the new year took place in the new year, not a 'ber' month.

Different people, different New Year. Wink
Though, I'm not sure which calendar she's using.
Hello_World
Hey! The party starts on New Years EVE people LOL

Razz

Yeah I'm pretty sure the key birthday month would be different in different places...

Here, though, it makes sense... everyone on summer holidays in January... and obviously everyone is 'getting busy' as all the babies are born 9 months later...

Well, okay, not everyone... but there are sure a lot of birthdays in September...

IN my terms for Christmas I believe its a time of gathering were family comes together, but with just me and my mom being far from her family and my dad's side dont care about me at all. I just really have 1 person in life who does truly care about me. My girl and my mother. Thou my girl lives 4 states away, we still keep in touch no matter what holiday it is!

I go to every Christmas Festival in town when one is scheduled. It's fun to go to the events and enjoy life. Whenever there is a event like that around, I usually go to it to enjoy it and make new friends!
johans
Spirits of Christmas is everywhere and with in our selves.... the best way to celebrate it is BELIEVED in it.
