[RESOLVED] Need Help with pphlogger

I'm trying to set up pphlogger on my account and am having trouble.

When going to setup.php I get this error:

unable to connect to database on 'localhost' with user 'phil'
(1045) Access denied for user: 'phil@localhost' (Using password: YES)
Please check your settings in config.inc.php !

I created database through c-panel, as far as I can tell.
What could I be doing wrong?

apart from creating the database, did u create that user and give that user access to that database? that can also be done thru cPanel.

Try that first if u didnt do that and if that still dusnt work, look online here:
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/access-denied.html

You need to create a user for your database. Make the username and database have a descriptive name, such as 'pphlogger'.

Your cPanel username is prepended to the name, so if you type 'pphlogger' for the database and usernames, then it will come out as: 'phil_pphlogger'. Then, add the database name, MySQL user name and MySQL password to the config.inc.php file. It should now work.
