Looking for a on-line HTML Calender Site

Phil
There was a particular site that had a HTML calender script. I've lost the bookmark and would love to know if anyone knows if the site is even still up.

It was a university site and the script was called HCAL 1.0..... Already Googled it with no luck. (If someone DOES search for it, it's NOT the HIOX/HCAL php script) It was actually a CGI script come to think of it.

Anyway, it had a neat customizable HTML Calender generator on it. I used it to make HTML Calenders..... generated them, then edited them with my own scheduled dates. After looking high and low it just really did what I wanted it to do.

Anyway, if someone has some info about this site, please respond!

Thanks.

possibly this one ? Question
http://wwwcgi.umr.edu/cgi-bin/cgiwrap/msaumr/hijri

if not any more infomation you can give could find it! Smile
Phil
No, that's not it.
But thanks for the try.
It was just a reallyhelpful site..... for me.
It did place this comment in the calender it created:

<!-- Calendar created by hcal 1.0-->

You could set the size of everything and just whip it up.

If worse comes to worse I'll just figure out how it do it myself.

Thanks again

Found this, but I don't know if this is the one you're referring to or not - Calendar of Events

SiteScripts.com - search results for Calendar Perl/CGI scripts

Hits4Me.com had several suggestions and other links that might be of interest to you.

Calendars.net is a very good free remotely-hosted solution you might wanna look at.
(I've used this one myself and have always been satisfied with it.)

Idea Try some other search engines besides Google, or do a search for "calendar cgi script".

It wasn't this site, was it?

http://www.htmlcal.com/

Are you 100% sure it was called hcal? do you still have one of the sample calendars you've generated?

( also check here I guess:

good luck in your search!
Phil
Found It!!!

Its at http://www.cs.arizona.edu/people/jhh/hcal.html

Did a search for "HTML calender" at alta vista.

I know it's nothing fancy, but for what I do with it, it's perfect. I generate a calender that fits on a single page, then add-in any scheduled events (mostly when bills are due) with HTML Kit and print it up. Her is what the finished product looks like:

It just works for me, it's just simple, that's all.

Thanks for all the help guys, I appreciate it.
Have a good one!

I'm glad you found what you were looking for!
Bookmark that thing! LoL
There's nothing quite as satisfying as re-discovering something important that you thought was lost forever. Very Happy

You're right - that's a nifty little generator.
(Personally, I'm a big fan of things that don't require a lot of unnecessary frills to get a simple job done.)
