pHPnuke

can someone tell me what is PHPnuke and what does it do?
I've been seeing it mentioned all over this forum, but non of the text that comes with it relates too what it really is?
And i think, ive seen it on fantastico too Confused

PHP-Nuke is a Content Management System made in php language.

You can do a lot of things with phpnuke, but still I don't recommand it. Rather use e107, mambo or xoops to manage your content. They are much faster and secure that phpnuke.
